We have all heard the term greenwashing - which describes a company declaring their products have environmental attributes, only to dig a little deeper and find the environmental claims are not genuine. This makes purchasing difficult for well intentioned specifiers and consumers. The ACCC declared that there number one priority was to crack down on greenwashing in Australia due to the amount of companies claiming to be green.

We could be guilty of reviewing this goal as external to a country like Australia, perceiving this to be about developing nations who produce the products and materials we import. But unfortunately the inequality of our First Nation’s people here at home is quite shocking.
