No Time to Waste

Circular Design Thinking alongside those that we work with, have grown weary of witnessing the relentless cycle of overproduction, waste, and pollution. The churn rate of fast furniture and fast fit-outs has profound environmental impacts, all of which future generations will have to grapple with - unless we foster change now.

To do this we need to quantify the waste that is made each year. Unfortunately to date local data has either been made on assumptions or is out of date. So it’s time to call out grassroots style! We are asking for action from those who are part of commercial or residential refurbishments, renovations and defits to sign up to the petition CDT has started. We are asking for 2500 signatures across both sectors to commit to quantifying the waste on projects committed to between August to December 2024. Currently we have 145 signatures but we need more.
